Indenture made May 9, 1765; Basil Burgess in consideration of 10 pounds currency paid by Basil Magruder has sold "Vale of Benjamin" containing 27 acres beginning at a bounded second boundary of the part of said tract now in the possession of Basil Magruder called "Batsons Vineyard", the last line of Capt. Enoch Magruders part of "Huckleberry Patch", the Northwest corner of a part of his said whole tract now in the possession of Mareen Duvall. Signed Basil Burgess in the presence of and acknowledged before Thomas Williams, Nathaniel Magruder and at the same time Ann Burgess wife of Basil Burgess relinquished her right of dower

Indenture made April 20, 1765; Thomas Stockett, Gentleman of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, in consideration of 20 pounds currency paid by Basil Burgess, planter of PGCo has sold part of a tract called "Vale of Benjamin" containing 54 acres and beginning at the 2nd boundary of part of the aforesaid tract called "Batson's Vineyard" now in the possession of Basil Magruder being also the northwestern boundary of "Vale of Benjamin" the parts in the possession of Charles Burgess, a bounded sycamore standing on the east side of the Western Branch the beginning tree of "Westfalia", the last line of Capt. Enoch Magruder's tract called "Huckleberry Patch", part of his said whole tract now in the possession of Mareen Duvall. Indenture made April 18, 1770; Basil Burgess of Anne Arundel County, Maryland in consideration of 100 pounds sterling paid by Basil Magruder of PGCo has sold part of a tract called "Vale of Benjamin" beginning at a bounded hickory the second boundary of "Batson's Vineyard" now in the possession of the said Basil Magruder and bounded by that part of "Vale of Benjamin" in possession of Charles Burgess the beginning of the whole 54 acres the said Basil Burgess had on the April 20, 1765 conveyed and made over to Thomas Stockett of Anne Arundel County, Maryland; also 27 acres of "Vale of Benjamin" bounded by a tract called "Westphalia" and the east side of the Western Branch of Patuxent River; also part of "Long Green" containing 13 acres and bounded by "Largo" in the mouth of the Southwest branch of the Western branch of Patuxent River.
