      Indenture made April 18, 1770; Basil Burgess of Anne Arundel County, Maryland in consideration of 100 pounds sterling paid by Basil Magruder of PGCo has sold part of a tract called "Vale of Benjamin" beginning at a bounded hickory the second boundary of "Batson's Vineyard" now in the possession of the said Basil Magruder and bounded by that part of "Vale of Benjamin" in possession of Charles Burgess the beginning of the whole 54 acres the said Basil Burgess had on the April 20, 1765 conveyed and made over to Thomas Stockett of Anne Arundel County, Maryland; also 27 acres of "Vale of Benjamin" bounded by a tract called "Westphalia" and the east side of the Western Branch of Patuxent River; also part of "Long Green" containing 13 acres and bounded by "Largo" in the mouth of the Southwest branch of the Western branch of Patuxent River.
