      In will of John Clarke in 1727 son of Thomas Clarke and Anne Barber.
      Luke Clarke is mentioned as deceased. That Will was made out on 20th day of January Anno Domini 1727/8. That would seem to indicate that Luke Clarke died most likely in 1726. Below is a portion of that will.

      "I give and bequeath to my sister Mary Compton one barrel of Indian corn to be paid her at my decease by my Executor.
      Item I give and bequeath to Thomas Clarke son to Luke Clarke deceased." Mary Clarke was not married in 1711 at time of Father's death. In 1727 in her brother John's of 1727 she was married to William Compton.
