      Indenture made August 24, 1767; John Orme, innholder of Frederick County, Maryland in consideration of 130 pounds in 15 shillings sterling money of Great Britain paid by Robert Osborn, tailor has sold part of a tract called "Luckey Discovery"containing 119 ¼ acres, and lying on the west side of the Western branch of Patuxent River and beginning at the end of the second line of "Free School Farm" in possession of Ignatius Digges, Esq. signed John Orme in the presence of and acknowledged before Joshua Beall, Christopher Lowndes and at the same time Lucy Orme wife of John Orme relinquished her right of dower

Nov 25, 1777 from Thomas Beall (son of George) of M, to Lucy Orme of M, for 500 £, part of a tract of land called the James and the Addition to the James, lying in M, beginning at the end of the 11th line of the Addition to the James, then to intersect Alexander Clagett's land, then to the Addition to the James, then to Archibald Orme's part of sd tract, containing about 2261/2 acres. If, however, sd Thomas Beall, son of George, pays sd Lucy Orme, sd sum of 500 -8 within the next 3 years, with interest, then this deed to be void. Signed - Thomas Beall of Geoe, Lucy Orme. We, James Orme, executor, and Lucy Orme, executrix of the will of John Orme, late of Frederick County, decd, Thomas Beall (son of George) who married Nancy Orme, one of the daughters of the sd John Orme decd, Robert Peter, Esq, for and on the part and behalf of Ruth Orme and Eleanor Orme, the other 2 daughters of the sd John Orme, decd, all of M, are bound to James Smith of Frederick Town in Frederick County, merchant, in the penal sum of 20,100 £, this Mar 3, 1779. Whereas sd James Orme, Executor, and Lucy Orme, Executrix, with the consent of sd Thomas Beall, Ruth Orme and Eleanor Orme, and also sd Robert Peter as a security for sd Ruth Orme and Eleanor Orme, put up to public sale lot #22 in George Town, bounded by lot #11, lot #9, Bridge Street, High Street; also all the houses, out houses, granary shops, barns, stables, hereditaments, and improvements erected upon sd lot. James Smith afd became the highest bidder for sd lot, and has paid sd James Orme and Lucy Orme, 10,050 £. If sd James Orme and Lucy Orme, Thomas Beall and Robert Peter, security for Ruth Orme and Eleanor Orme becoming parties, within 3 years, convey to James Smith the afd lot, then the within bond to be void. Signed - Jas. Orme, Lucy Orme, Thos. Beall of Geo., Robert Peter. Wit - Joshua Tesstill, Anthony Reintzel. Jul 24, 1779 from Lucy Orme of M, to Thomas Beall (son of George) of M. Whereas Thomas Beall (son of George), for 500 £, did, on Nov 25, 1777, convey to sd Lucy Orme, all that part of a tract of land called the James and the Addition to the James, lying in M, containing about 226-1/2 acres, subject, nevertheless to the proviso that on payment of 500 £at any time within 3 years, with interest from the date of sd recited deed, then sd deed should cease, reference being had to the sd deed, recorded in Liber A folio 87-89, one of the Land Records of M, will appear. And whereas sd Thomas Beall (son of George) has fully paid sd Lucy Orme the afd 500 £and interest, within the time limited for payment thereof by the same recited deed, to wit, on Mar 31, 1779, now this deed witnesses that, for and in consideration of the premises and for 5 shillings to sd Lucy Orme in hand paid by sd Thomas Beall (son of George), Lucy Orme confirms to Thomas Beall (son of George) the afd land.
