At the request of Daniel Bourne of CC, the following bond was recorded on Apr 19, 1744.
I- William Brooks of CC, planter, give bond to Daniel Bourne of CC, planter, in the just and full sum of 100 £sterling money of GB, this Feb 16, 1739[/40), to warrant that sd Wm Brooks & his wife will make over & acknowledge their right to a certain parcel of land, being part of Thomas' Choice, to Daniel Bourne. The land is bounded by Potomack River, sd Bourne 's cow pen, the line of Tower Hill. If Brooks and wife warrant & defend the land forever for sd Bourne, then this bond to be void.
