      Columbus Alexander married Rebecca Hay, daughter of Henry Hay, of Boston and of this union were born six children:
      1. Catherine, who married James Francis Russell. Mr. and Mrs. Russell are the parents of three children: Louise R., wife of Lester Hayward, of Los Angeles, who now makes her residence in Washington; Katharine, wife of John Weisiger, of Richmond, Virginia; Eva, wife of Harry V. Bouic, son of State Senator Bouic, of Maryland.
