William Boswell Sr's Will....
I William Bosel of Mattywomin Forest, in CC, planter, am very sick of body but of sound and perfect mind and memory.
To my three grandchildren Anthony Posey, Mary Posey and Sarah Posey 30£common money to be paid out of my estate by my executors in even and equal shares so soon as each of my sd grandchildren shall arrive of age, that is the boy of 21 years and the girls of 16.
To my wife Sarah Bosel the rest of my estate both real and personal, during her natural life, and after her death, to be equally divided among my children, share and share alike, subject, nevertheless, to the giving unto my loving daughter Winney Anne Bosel, the first Negro child my Negro Betty shall bring into the world alive.
