      THIS INDENTURE made the 21st day of February in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred & ninety one Between ERASMUS CHAPMAN of County of Culpeper and NANCEY his Wife of one part and GEORGE FOUSHEE of the other part; Witnesseth that ERASMUS CHAPMAN & NANCEY his Wife in consideration of the sum of Sixty nine pounds current money to them or one of them in hand paid by GEORGE FOUSHEE, by these presents (do & each of them) doth bargain sell & confirm unto GEORGE FOUSHEE his heirs all that tract of land hereafter mentioned (to wit) One hundred &fifty two acres lying in County of Culpeper, Begining at three small white Oaks and one black Oak, corner to BENJAMIN BINGHAM and TIMOTHY HOLDWAY, thence with HOLDWAYs line South five degrees West one hundred & five poles to three Pines, corner to MRS. PITCHER, thence with her line South seventy three degrees East one hundred & forty eight poles to one Pine & one white Oak, corner to MATHIAS RINEHART, thence with his line North twenty degrees East seventy four poles to two dead white Oaks, corner to THOMAS SIMS SENR., thence with his line North sixty three poles to one Hickory & white Oak at a pile of Rocks, corner to the said SIMS, thence North twenty eight degrees West sixty poles to a Pine &white Oak, corner to BENJAMIN BINGHAM, thence with his line South seventy five degrees West to the begining, with the houses orchards timber profits & appurtenances to said tract of land belonging; To have & to hold the land containing One hundred & fifty two acres and appurtenances unto GEORGE FOUSHEE his heirs; And ERASMUS CHAPMAN & NANCY his Wife and their heirs to said GEORGE FOUSHEE his heirs against all persons will warrant & forever defend by these presents; In Witness whereof the said ERASMUS & NANCY his Wife have hereunto set their hands & seals the day & year first above written
