John Finch's Will
In the name of God Amen, I John Finch the County of Westmoreland being weak and sickly of body but in perfect sense and sound memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following.
Item I give and bequeath to my brother Nicholas Muse my silver watch and my silver shoe buckles in the buckles.
Item I give and bequeath to my sister Mary Randall 5 pounds current money to be paid her after this will is proved.
Item all the rest of my estate herein not given or otherwise bequeath it is my will and desire that it shall be equally divided between my brother Nicholas Muse and my two sisters Mary Randall and Ann Muse.
Confirmation whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the second day of January 1765.
Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of us John Finch
N.B. I appoint and ordain my brother Nicholas Muse and brother-in-law Thomas Randall whole and sole executors of this my last will and testament.

At a court held for Westmoreland County the 26th day of February 1765 this will was proved according to law by the oath of Augustine Sanford and Henrietta Sanford, witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded; and on the motion of Nicholas Muse and Thomas Randall the executors therein named who made oath according to law and together with Nicholas Muse, Sr., their security entered into and acknowledged bond with condition as the law directs, certificate is granted them for obtaining a probate thereof in due form.
