IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I THOS. STHRESHLEY of Essix County being very sick and weak but of sound & perfect memory praise be given to almighty God for the same doe make ordaine constitute & appoint this my last will & Testament in manner & form following Vitt.
Item I give and bequeath unto my well beloved Daughter TAMMEZIN UPSHAW a ring of fifteen shillings price for with reason she hath recd hur part of my Estate alredy.
Item I give and bequeath unto my well beloved Daughter SARAH STHRESHLY my negro man named Will for hur and hur hiers for ever.
Item I give and bequeath unto my well beloved Daughter BETTEY STHRESHLY my negro
woman named Jane. to hur and bur hiers for ever.
Item I give and bequeath unto my
well beloved Son WILLIAM STHRESHLY my negro man named Dick to him and his biers
for ever.
Item I give and bequeath unto my well beloved Daughter MARY STHRESHLY my negro garle named Dye to hur and hur hiers for ever.
Item I give and bequeath unto my well beloved Daughter HANNAH STHRESHLY my negro garle named Sue to hur and hur hiers for ever.
Item I give and bequeath unto my well beloved Daughter SUSANAH STHRESHLY my negro boy named George to hur & hur hiers for ever,
Item I give and bequeath unto my well beloved Son THOS. STHRESHLY my negro boy named Robin to him and his hiers for ever.
Item I lend unto my well beloved Wife five negroes dureing hur natural life (to wit) Cambridg, Oxford, Sam, Phillis and Great Dye & after hur decease to be devided amongst my children also I give hur my rideing horse and side sadle to hur and hur hiers for ever.
Item I give and bequeath unto my well beloved Son William the one half of the land I now dwell on to be at the upper end of it and after my wifes deces the other part to him and his biers forever.
I give and bequeath unto my Son Thos. Sthreshly foure hundred acres of good land for wch ye money to purchase it is to be raised out of the profits of my Estate & to be purchasid at the discretion of my Executor.
My desire is that my Father shall have eight pounds per year out of his Estate and in case it is more than he has occasion of it shall be added to my Estate againe during his natral life
I give and bequeath unto my well beloved Wife and seven children the remainder of my Estate both rial and personal to be Eaquelly devided amongst them and in case either of my children dye without hiers then his or
their part be Eaquelly devided amongst the rest of my children. My will and desire is that my well beloved Wife shall be my hole and sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament as Witness my hand and seal this Seventh day of April one thousand seven hundred and thirty five

This last will and Testament of Thomas Sthreshly decd was presented in Court by HANNAH STHRESHLY the Exx therein named who made oath thereto and being proved by the Oaths of William Roane & James Rennolds jr two of the witnesses thereto was ordered to be recorded
